Cassiobury Park - 4.4.19
A day clearing up in the park started off very well when a Cetti's Warbler burst into song just over the river from the miniature railway. Just the 3rd park record. 2 pair of Mandarin were on the river as well as a Little Egret.
Born and bred in Watford,Herts, I started birding when I was just 8 years old. I first went to the Watford RSPB group at 15 and then I joined the Herts Bird Club in the same year. I was on the Herts Bird Club committee for 3 years and started twitching in 2001. I've recently taken up Mothing so there maybe some photos of a different kind of flying thing on here from time to time!
