Well what a great day in the park today. The first
Willow Warbler for the year was singing from near The Gardens entrance and better still was only the 4th modern day record of
Cuckoo that called twice from the far end of the meadow. 2
Buzzard went over during the day and the first
Common Tern of the year flew south over the new cress beds. Finally 3
Mandarin (2 male) were on the river by the meadow bridge.
