Cassiobury Park - 3.3.11
A day spent in the bowling green produced a few good birds. The best of the bunch was a Sparrowhawk which put everything up. A Green Woodpecker was heard as was a Nuthatch and a male Pied Wagtail was on the green itself.
Born and bred in Watford,Herts, I started birding when I was just 8 years old. I first went to the Watford RSPB group at 15 and then I joined the Herts Bird Club in the same year. I was on the Herts Bird Club committee for 3 years and started twitching in 2001. I've recently taken up Mothing so there maybe some photos of a different kind of flying thing on here from time to time!
