Highlight of the day was a Water Rail obviously forced out of hiding by the snow. A Little Owl started calling at 2.45pm and a Skylark, Fieldfare and Sparrowhawk flew over during the day and a Stock Dove put in an appearance aswell.
On the way home I noted 60+ Redwings eating berries behind the Total garage on St.Albans road near TK Maxx/Homebase.
