Red Kite - 4.7.12

Firstly may I wish my American readers a Happy Independence Day!

Secondly the only bird of note today was a Red Kite over Kings Langley after work.

Ian: Born and bred in Watford,Herts, I started birding when I was just 8 years old. I first went to the Watford RSPB group at 15 and then I joined the Herts Bird Club in the same year. I was on the Herts Bird Club committee for 3 years and started twitching in 2001.
