Cassiobury Park - 3.7.12

A Red Kite flew West over the yard early morning and a family party of 6 Mistle Thrush (2 adult + 4 juv) were on the cricket outfield.

Ian: Born and bred in Watford,Herts, I started birding when I was just 8 years old. I first went to the Watford RSPB group at 15 and then I joined the Herts Bird Club in the same year. I was on the Herts Bird Club committee for 3 years and started twitching in 2001.
