Cassiobury Park - 30.7.13
The only noteworthy birds seen in the miserable weather was 4 fully grown juvenile Mandarins by the rustic bridge then above the waterfall. This is the first time in the 4-5 years they have bred in the park that I've managed to see any of the young.
Born and bred in Watford,Herts, I started birding when I was just 8 years old. I first went to the Watford RSPB group at 15 and then I joined the Herts Bird Club in the same year. I was on the Herts Bird Club committee for 3 years and started twitching in 2001. I've recently taken up Mothing so there maybe some photos of a different kind of flying thing on here from time to time!
