Early Spring?

Looking through my notebook I forgot to put on here that on the 12th Feb whilst in Poole I had a Brimstone butterfly in one of the nearby gardens (possibly my earliest ever?) and in the council yard last Friday I noted a pair of Blue Tits mating.
