 So another years birding over and done with. I finished on 193 species of which 6 were lifers. That’s my best tally since 2016 when I had 10.

Cape Gull

Turkestan Shrike

Greater Sand Plover

Swainson’s Thrush

Blackburnian Warbler 

Hertfordshire wise I finally added a new county bird. That was the drake Green-winged Teal at Wilstone Reservoir on New Year’s Day.
