Watford - 16.4.10

Whilst working up on the bank on Cassio Road I popped into a bush for a pee and there above my head was a female Whitethroat!! My first of the year.

Ian: Born and bred in Watford,Herts, I started birding when I was just 8 years old. I first went to the Watford RSPB group at 15 and then I joined the Herts Bird Club in the same year. I was on the Herts Bird Club committee for 3 years and started twitching in 2001. I've recently taken up Mothing so there maybe some photos of a different kind of flying thing on here from time to time!
